Bean is a musician of long standing. Having been in her first professional musical production at the young age of 6, when she appeared in the production of "The King and I." Bean is proficient as a vocalist in genres ranging from blues and classic rock to modern rock. She is also a proficient flute player (jazz, blues, rock), saxophone player (jazz, blues, rock), bass player, and electric guitar player. She is able to read and write sheet music.
